Concept

A horse and its reflection meet a warm light that lingers on the water.

Artist Note

The horse stands in a fading landscape, while its reflection meets a warm light that lingers on the water. I painted that remaining light as a sign of hope: even as a presence passes, its warmth can stay with us.
